Each Terra Tag is 7.4cm x 10.4cm and comes with a 1-meter neck cord, accounting for the hand-tied length behind the neck. Terra Tags feature two holes for neck cord attachment, preventing flipping, and you can adjust the cord. Check out our Visuals.

Our seed paper is handmade in our Sunshine Coast studio by recycling waste paper that would otherwise end up in landfill.

To ensure a high germination rate, we recommend planting your seed paper within 2 years. While it's still feasible for seed paper to sprout after this period, planting it sooner rather than later will significantly increase your chances of a fabulous bloom.
Design and Customisation

Absolutely, that's our wheelhouse! We specialise in customised name badges for events or conferences. You can include guest names, job titles, logos, and a professional design that reflects your event brand strategy. Just ensure your Designer is aware of our artwork guidelines.
We offer A7 and A6 standard-size event name tags. However, if you have specialised needs just reach out and talk with us about your requirements.

Both portrait and landscape orientations are fine for name badges; it depends on the design elements and composition you prefer. We understand the importance of versatility and aesthetic appeal, so our name badges are designed to work beautifully in both orientations. We see an equal measure of portrait and landscape orientations used by our clients, and each style looks beautiful. Ultimately, the choice between portrait and landscape should align with your personal or brand style and the specific information you wish to display on your badge.

Yes, you can! Guest names are often finalised last minute, so using stickers is sometimes necessary. We tested stickers on Terra Tags and they both stick and peel off easily. Avery offers eco-friendly adhesive labels which we recommend that our customers use.

Go to the Shop page use the drop-down fields to select paper type, and quantity, then click the Add To Cart button.
A pop-up window will open for you to submit your design brief, delivery date, and artwork files.
Once the order has been submitted, we’ll be in touch with you within 4 hours.
Upon artwork approval, we'll print and assemble your Terra Tags within 10 business days. Easy!

If your order is greater than 300 Terra Tags, you’re eligible for bulk pricing. Just ask for a quote and we’ll get back to you fast.
For orders less than 300 Terra Tags, go to the Shop to view your total costs - no quote is necessary.

Yes, only for orders over 300. Just ask us for a Quote and we’ll pass on bulk pricing to you.
If your order is less than 300 Terra Tags, head over to the Shop and add the product and quantities to the cart - there you’ll find the total cost including shipping.

We have a 10-day turnaround time from artwork approval however we're pretty good at accommodating fast requests. For solutions to last-minute guest additions, we have ideas if you're an event planner - just sing out.

We don’t provide product samples (seeds are precious) however our Visuals and Instagram account have ample product videos and imagery.
Think of Terra Tags as quality, thick, handmade paper that can go the distance. They’re smooth on one side and textured on the other and both sides print beautifully.
Shipping and Handling

Currently, we ship recycled paper products to all states and territories in Australia.
We ship seed paper products to all states and territories except Western Australia. In WA the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development has enforced biosecurity quarantine regulations that require seeds being imported to be inspected and certified by registered providers and are subject to import inspections. Unfortunately, this means importing seed paper into WA is prohibitive.
We do not ship internationally due to quarantine constraints in Australia.

We love an unboxing! Our packing materials are recycled and recyclable, from the box to the honeycomb wrap to the kraft paper to the eco-tape. Your Terra Tags are snug and safe and carefully packed to arrive in the same condition they were when left our studio - perfect!

Yes, we use specialist ink jet printing that is low heat to protect the seeds, generates less waste, and consumes less ink than traditional methods.

After-Event Processes

Terra Tags have a QR code on the back that tells guests how to plant or recycle their name badge and lanyard so you don’t need to do a thing. We provide a registration sign that informs people of the seed paper type used for their name badge.

Your Terra Tag neck cord is made of 100% odour-free, non-bleached, chemical and dye-free cotton, and is completely biodegradable.
We encourage you to reuse or up-cycle it for your eco-project.
When disposing of your neck cord, if you maintain a home compost pile, or if your community has a composting program, you can add the neck cord to your compost. It will break down over time and eventually become nutrient-rich goodness for your garden.
Alternatively, dispose of your neck cord in your normal garbage, and it will decompose back into the land.
By responsibly disposing of your biodegradable neck cord, you're contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.

Soak the paper in water until softened.
Place the card on a seed-raising mix (in a pot or directly in the ground). Gently cover with additional mix, water, and keep the area moist.
Germination typically occurs within 7 to 21 days.
